Saying goodbye to St. Andrew’s

CBC Radio’s The Current recently aired a documentary by Elias Abboud about the closing and de-consecration of the 100-year-old St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in La Tuque, Que. Knowing that almost-empty churches can’t afford to stay open is cold comfort for the remaining parishioners as they say goodbye to their long-time community and place of worship.
