Tali Folkins, Editor

Tali Folkins joined the Anglican Journal in 2015 as staff writer, and has served as editor since October 2021. Previously he reported for the New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal and Law Times, a newspaper covering the legal profession in Ontario. His freelance writing has appeared in publications including The Globe and Mail and the former United Church Observer (now Broadview)He has a journalism degree from the University of King’s College and a master’s degree in Classics from Dalhousie University.

Sean Frankling, Staff Writer

Sean Frankling’s experience includes newspaper reporting as well as writing for video and podcast media. He’s been chasing stories since his first co-op for Toronto’s Gleaner Community Press at age 19. He studied journalism at Carleton University and has written for the Toronto Star, WatchMojo and other outlets.

Matt Puddister, Staff Writer

Most recently, Matt Puddister worked as corporate communicator for the Anglican Church of Canada, a position he held since Dec. 1, 2014. He previously served as a city reporter for the Prince Albert Daily Herald. A former resident of Kingston, Ont., Puddister has a degree in English literature from Queen’s University and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Western Ontario. He also supports General Synod’s corporate communications.

Saskia Rowley, Art Director

Saskia Rowley is an award-winning art director who has worked for the Anglican Journal since 1996. She also heads the graphics and print production department for the national office of the Anglican Church of Canada and is a professional member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario and member of the Society of News Designers (SND).
