AIDS in Africa
Mar 1, 2003

Mississauga, Ont.-Canon Harold Percy of Trinity church, Streetsville, Ont., was among seven Canadians representing a broad spectrum of Canada's church community who traveled to Africa Feb. 3-13 to "see the face of AIDS first hand." The goal of the trip, which took the group to Raki, Uganda and Bukoba, Tanzania, was to expose clergy to the needs faced by those infected with HIV/AIDS, especially mothers and children.

This is the first in a series of World Vision trips aimed at encouraging the Canadian church community to get involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
