What about silence?
Apr 1, 2007

What about giving up busy lives and spending some time in silence with God?

A young Anglican named Angela made this timely suggestion for Lent in a blog, or Internet diary, at generation.anglican.ca, a Web site for young Canadian Anglicans.

Another blogger wrote that, indeed, Christians are becoming more creative (and insightful) about their response to the traditional question, “What are you giving up for Lent?”

A sampling of the responses: “things that produce excessive greenhouse gas,” “complaining,” “listening to my iPod,” “self-doubt,” “consumerism.”
