Nicholl
Church House employee Bev Nicholl, advertising representative for three Anglican publications and one inter-denominational magazine, died suddenly on Feb. 21in Toronto. Ms. Nicholl had sold classified advertising for the Anglican Journal since 1993 when she joined national staff on a permanent part-time basis after retiring as a media director at Axmith, McIntyre & Wicht Ltd. She later took on advertising responsibilities for MinistryMatters, the Anglican Church Directory and the inter-denominational magazine, the Practice of Ministry in Canada, published by the Churches' Council on Theological Education in Canada.
Besides her work at Church House, Ms. Nicholl was an avid sports fan, particularly of the Toronto Blue Jays, whose fortunes she followed with a passion.
A memorial service was held on Feb. 25 in Don Mills, Ont., led by Anglican Journal editor Rev. David Harris. Ms. Nicholl is survived by a brother, Garth, a sister, Norma, and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
