Seeking ‘Inspiration’ in photographs
Mar 1, 2008
 | Joy P. Baker | |
“If this isn’t a picture from the heart I don’t know what is,” writes contibutor Joy P. Baker Griffin of St. Mary Magdalene, Dorset, Lake of Bays, Ont. “This is my friend Gayle Gilligan, a member of All Saints’ Church in Huntsville, Muskoka. Gayle is everybody’s friend in spite of her own health issues and concerns. She is always there to lend a helping hand and offer support always with a kind word or deed. Here she is visiting me with a gift of herself and a lovely smile when I was unwell.” Photo contributions for “From the heart,” the theme in February for Picture Your Faith, are now available for viewing at www.anglicanjournal.com/picture-your-faith.
Picture Your Faith is a monthly feature on the Anglican Journal Web site.
The goal of Picture Your Faith is to tell stories of faith through images; each month, the Journal invites submissions based on a particular theme.
The next theme is “Inspiration” and the deadline for submissions is Tuesday, March 25. The guidelines for submitting photographs for consideration are found on the Journal Web site, www.anglicanjournal.com. Previous themes have included Rebirth, Holy Moments, Remembrance and Joy.
