Native bishop visits Keewatin
The Keewatin
Oct 1, 2007
MacDonald The Anglican Church of Canada’s new national indigenous bishop, Mark MacDonald, in early July visited the Kingfisher Lake First Nation community in northern Ontario, in the diocese of Keewatin. He taught a class on youth ministry at the Dr. William Winter School of Ministry and confirmed nine young people at St. Matthew’s Anglican church. He also shared his musical gifts at a gospel jamboree that included a healing walk around the community.
