Featured letter: Quite a bit more comfort

Dear editor,
Re: A bit of comfort (April Anglican Journal), about the knitted comfort dolls (www.icross.ca). I started a challenge to all churches in Sarnia to create comfort dolls in memory of Cpl. Brent Poland, a member of St. John-in-the-Wilderness, who died in Afghanistan in the line of duty. My challenge finished on Oct. 26, Brent’s birthday; that article produced more than 1,200 dolls to be used for packing material to Third World countries.
