A bit of comfort

Anglican Church Women groups in the diocese of Ontario have created dozens of hand-knitted Comfort Dolls for the International Community for the Relief of Suffering and Starvation (ICROSS). A humanitarian organization, ICROSS uses the dolls as packing material for reuseable and donated medical supplies sent to developing countries; the dolls are then given to local children. Information about the program and the pattern for the Comfort Dolls can be found at www.icross.ca.
