Feb 1, 2006

The three-year-old International Study Centre at Canterbury Cathedral in England is offering in August a three-week course in Anglicanism that is open to seminarians, ordinands and divinity school students. Faculty and students are drawn from across the Anglican Communion. The course has been offered for the last three years and topics have included Anglican spirituality and how Anglicanism can reconcile diversity with unity. The course runs from July 30 to Aug. 19. Cost is £2,050 ($4,100 Cdn), plus travel costs. Scholarships are available from the Friends of Canterbury Cathedral in Canada, who have assisted a number of Canadian students since 2001. Information is available at Canterbury Cathedral's Web site, www.canterbury-cathedral.org (click on Canterbury Scholars); application forms and information about scholarships are available at www.friendsofcanterbury.ca.
