The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) announced that General Synod’s Web site writer, Diana Mavunduse, has been named communications  co-ordinator at the Primate’s Fund, effective March 6.

Ms. Mavunduse will work as part of the fund’s public engagement team and will be responsible for its communication plan. She joined the Anglican Church of Canada’s national office in Toronto in December, 2003, writing news, features and announcements for the church’s Web site, www.anglican.ca.

Originally from Zimbabwe, Ms. Mavunduse’s previous experience included working with Action by Churches Together, the World Council of Churches Decade to Overcome Violence program and the Southern African Research and Documentation Centre in Harare.
