Rising from the ashes
Firefighters carry the altar into St. John's Anglican Church in Lunenburg, N.S., during a rededication ceremony in June. The church, which burned on Halloween night in 2001, was painstakingly restored after a successful fundraising campaign. The church, which had been designated a national historic site, is the second-oldest Anglican church in Canada.
