Sheila Craig, General Synod assistant treasurer, retired in July after nearly 30 years of service.

Ms. Craig began working for General Synod as a secretary at the age of 17 in 1959. She left General Synod in 1967 to care for adopted children and came back to work for the accounting office in 1984. Her time away from General Synod was also spent working as parish administrator and Sunday school teacher for an Anglican parish in Richmond Hill, Ont.
