- The assessed value of Bishopstope, the bishop's residence near Timmins, Ont., see city of the diocese of Moosonee, is about $183,000.
- Archbishop Andrew Hutchison, primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, attends the annual general synod of the Episcopal Church of Cuba as an observer and adviser. He does not preside over it. The Canadian primate chairs the meeting of the Metropolitan Council of Cuba (MCC). Bishop Lloyd Allen of Honduras is a member of the MCC, not Bishop Miguel Tamayo of Uruguay.
