Canon Naim Ateek, founding president of Sabeel Ecumenical Theology Centre in Jerusalem and author of books on peace and justice in Palestine and Israel, is scheduled to visit Canada from Oct. 17-19.

He will speak on Oct. 18 at Emmanuel College, University of Toronto, in an event co-sponsored by Jewish peace organizations, and on Oct. 19 at Palestine House, Mississauga, Ont., in a forum sponsored by the Canadian Arab Federation and the Muslim Canadian Congress.
