Council of General Synod approved Judy Robinson as the appointee to the position of associate director of pensions effective July 1, 2003, and director of pensions effective Jan. 1, 2004.

The current director of pensions, Jenny Mason, retires Dec. 31, 2003.

Ms. Robinson, who has been senior director of pensions and benefits for George Weston Ltd./Loblaw Companies Ltd., served as a member of the Pension Commission of Ontario (subsequently the Financial Services Tribunal) between 1997 and 2001.
