Mar 19  - Episcopalians across the church celebrated the March 17 news that Diocese of Los Angeles Bishop-elect Mary Douglas Glasspool had received the required number of consents from standing committees and bishops with jurisdiction to her ordination and consecration as bishop. Still others lamented the decision and predicted that the news, announced by the presiding bishop's office, would further strain relationships within the Anglican Communion.

March 1, 2010 - The diocese of British Columbia has announced a plan to close 13 churches. While the dramatic restructuring is a response to declining church attendance, Bishop James Cowan says it goes beyond cost-cutting, addressing how the church can best allocate resources to carry out its mission as well as rebuild for the future.

March 1, 2010 - Five years ago, saint benedict’s table was formally established as a congregation within the diocese of Rupert’s Land. Since then, it has been a church community with a vision for cultivating, encouraging and producing art. So it is fitting that the publication of Beautiful Mercy/A Book of Hours has been timed to coincide with our fifth anniversary. The completion of the book and its accompanying CD marks a deepening of our commitment to seeking the face of God through word, image and sound. It marks yet another beginning.
