Rupert's Land News
Feb 1, 2005

The synod of Rupert's Land has voted to set aside $190,000 to strengthen aboriginal ministries in the diocese.

The money was to have been added to a new fund that holds money from the sale of Anglican Island.

The Indigenous Council of Rupert's Land, which has been changed from an advisory committee to a quasi-independent body, will be mainly responsible for identifying programs that will be funded by this aboriginal ministries fund.
