Weather man to soul man

Howard Thornton, a CBC Regina weather man who has been in broadcasting for more than two decades recently took early retirement and began preparations for a new calling in ordained ministry. Mr. Thornton has been taking part-time classes at Canadian Theological Seminary in Regina and will eventually transfer to an Anglican seminary to complete his studies. A lifelong Anglican, Mr. Thornton said he resisted the call for some time, but finally decided it was time to test it.
