New acting director for Primate’s Fund

The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) has appointed Adele Finney as acting executive director during executive director Cheryl Curtis’ maternity leave, effective March 7, 2006. Ms. Curtis will be on leave from Feb. 18, 2006 to Feb. 16, 2007. Ms. Finney was communications co-ordinator with the Primate’s Fund, and her contract in that position ended on Jan. 31, 2006. She has served PWRDF in various capacities since 1997, working as fundraising and promotions coordination and in the parish and diocesan partnership program. She has also written and edited Praying with our Partners, the international Anglican Cycle of Prayer, for the past two years. She also served as a partner-in-mission in Malaysia from 1982 to 1987.
